I'm TWO months old today AND I still have my cord?!?!?!?!?!

Can you believe it? We're going to see the doctor tomorrow about it.

What I Love About You...8 Weeks

I Love...

-to listen to you cooing. It's such a sweet, sweet sound!

-watching you smile. You do it so much more frequently now and there's nothing like smiling at you and you smiling back!

-the way that you have stretched out your sleep cycles at night since I cut out caffeine! You slept SEVEN hours in one stretch last night!

-how you are growing bigger every day, but you still fit into MOST of your newborn clothes!

-cuddling & snuggling you up to me tightly and just getting to love on you!

-how you took your first bottle (breast milk) almost two weeks ago (9/13/09) and just SUCKED it down so fast! We couldn't believe how fast you ate it!

-how you are just so sweet when we are out. One of our friends was so surprised to hear you fuss a little bit the other night when we were at her house. She said she hadn't heard you fuss yet! You are such a good baby!

-how I am starting to know what your cries mean. I know you are tired when you start crying suddenly and out of the blue! That usually means you want a nap. ;)

-how sweet you look in all the cute and stylish outfits your Nonna and Aunt Carrie bought for you!

-how it looks like you are eating my hair in this picture. Daddy thought it would be funny to put you on my shoulders. :D

-the ring Daddy bought me in celebration of your birth! Here we are just after your Daddy gave it to me this past Friday.

-how your hair makes a cute little swirl in the back.

-the many weird positions your Daddy puts you in. It's so funny how they make you so happy!

He used your sleep positioner as a back rest to make you sit up in your bassinet here.

It was so cute!

-how you throw your hands and feet in there when you are waking up.

-how you hold your paci better and better each day!

-how your Daddy "set" you up the other day. I love how the second picture looks like you were gut laughing, but you were actually falling over and your Daddy was catching you!

-how you matched your Daddy the other day. We didn't plan it, but you look so cute together!

Your Daddy loves to set you in your Boppy and the other day, you slowly worked your way down to the floor. Of course, as always, you were so cute!

I love you, sweet Caroline! You are the light of my life!

I am so glad you came to be our blessing!

A Wonderful Gift

When my husband walked through the door last Friday, he put this bag in front of my face. ;)


I opened it and this is what I saw!

The ruby is Caroline's birthstone! I am so excited to have this wonderful and beautiful gift from him as a reminder of Caroline's birth and what a blessing she is to us! It's gorgeous!

Talking & Sneezing

What I Love About You...7 Weeks

Well, I am quite a bit late this week, but here it is. I hope you guys are enjoying this. I am enjoying looking back at them already. I know I must say this every week, but I can't believe Caroline is 7 weeks old!

I Love:

-that I got to take a nap with you the other day and just lay there and watch you sleep. You are so sweet!

-how you sleep on your Daddy! I love seeing you with your Daddy!

-how long you are! Your Daddy stood you up like this the other day and I was just AMAZED at how tall you are!

-the many ways you sleep. I know I've said it before, but you are just such a good baby! You will sleep anywhere!

-how you put your little finger in the hole of your paci while you hold it. You are just so sweet!

-your "frog legs". Your legs often look like this when you sleep on your tummy.

-how cute you look sleeping in your crib and how well you sleep in your crib. You love it!

-how you let your Daddy put you in so many positions. It seems the weirder the position, the happier you are!

-how you are just such an incredibly happy baby! You are our joy and we are so glad the Lord blessed us with you!

-how you LOVE your car seat! You sleep in it so well and really enjoy your car rides! We are SO thankful!

-the view of your little head from the driver's seat as I turn around to check on you. You are so cute!!!

What I Love About You...6 Weeks

Here is Caroline at SIX weeks. I really cannot believe it's been that long! She is such an amazing blessing to us! Thank you, Lord!!!

I Love:

-how you look like a little lobster in your swaddle.

-how you love your swaddle! You sleep well in it!

-how you have started to enjoy your "baths" (you still haven't lost your cord) much more. You don't scream nearly as much as you used to!

Mrs. Tammy, I LOVE my towel! I use it all the time!!!

-how you look so cute in your sleep positioner! This is how I found you this morning. You had slid yourself way down! It wasn't bothering you any either. I had to wake you up to go sign on our house!

-how you play with your Daddy. Although, this picture might freak a few people out. ;) (He's careful, I promise!)

-to watch you with your Daddy. He is such a great Daddy and takes really good care of you! I am so thankful for him!!! (I LOVE this picture!!!)

-your little fat-fat that you have now. You were so skinny when you were born and still are, but you are starting to show a little baby fat now. So cute!

-how you love to just hang out on your changing pad. You just stare at your pretty pink walls and are so happy!
