I Love...

-to watch you play with your blanket while it is hanging over your swing. I have tried several times to get you to fall asleep in your swing by covering it with a blanket, but it rarely works. You just LOVE to play with it instead.

-to watch you sleep. You are such a sweet, sweet and amazing baby!

-watching you play with random kitchen items. They are sometimes your most favorite things to play with.

-seeing you hanging out with your Daddy. He was playing his Xbox and you were sitting with him and then decided to lay on his leg. You were so sleepy! Too cute!

-your new Christmas stocking that we got you for your First Christmas! I think you love it!

-how sweetly you play. You are such an even-keeled baby.

-going on walks with you and you love them as well. I can't wait until the weather gets better and we can go out for more!!!

Caroline turned 5 months old on December 30. My friend, Angela, took some pictures for me and here are a couple from that time. Caroline had just started sitting up on her own. My big girl!!!!!

I love....

-watching you play and playing with you. You really laugh hard at many things now and you get Mommy and Daddy laughing too! You are such a happy baby and we have so much fun!

Caroline says, "I will win this staring contest!"

-seeing how big you are getting! You act like you have been sitting up your whole life and you only started a couple of weeks before this picture was taken!

-seeing you use your teething toys that we have had for you for a while, but you weren't interested in them until now.

-how you look like you are so ready to eat that chocolate, but it will be a WHILE before you have any!

-LOVE, LOVE holding you while you are sleeping! You just melt my heart and I feel like you melt into my arms when you fall asleep in them!

-watching you try to catch the light from Daddy's headlamp. You just couldn't figure out why the light kept moving on you!

Too cute!

-you loving on me! You are such a sweet, good baby!

-watching you surrounded by the many toys you have. You defitnitely aren't hurting for entertainment!

-watching you play with your spoon we bought you. You LOVE chewing on this spoon!

-how you sink into the hole by Daddy while sitting by him and playing. You look too cute all sucked in there.

-how stinkin' cute you are!

-how you love your baths! You really love taking a bath. I can never say that enough! This is your new Primo Eurobath that your Grammy and Pops got you. I love this bath because it is made for you to be able to sit up easily and it saves on water too. ;) If I had had it when you were a tiny baby, I could have used it then too. It's very versatile!

Caroline's First Cereal

Caroline is 6 months and 6 days old today!

I finally gave up and gave her her first cereal. She has only had breastmilk up until this point which I am very proud of! All 15 pounds 12 ounces of my little girl is ME!

I fixed what I thought was way too much cereal, but Caroline ate it ALL and when the spoon stopped coming...she fussed because she wanted more! She really liked her cereal and wasn't very messy with it yet. I couldn't get the spoon to her mouth fast enough. She was leaning towards me out of her chair trying to get it. I'm SO glad she enjoyed it!

I am getting more excited about the foods that she will be sampling over the next weeks/months. She is such a big girl! I just can't believe it is time for solids!

This first picture is just after her first bite. She wasn't quite sure what was going on just yet, but she caught on quickly!

Notice her leaning towards me in the picture. She was really trying to get her cereal!

So good at eating already!
