Let's Go Fly a Kite!

We visited Medoc Mountain State Park today. 

It was SO beautiful out at this park!

 We spent some time flying a kite and hiking.

I love days like this with my hubby and sweet girls!

Here is Caroline flying the kite all by herself!

Caroline really didn't want her Daddy's help in flying the kite, but they had a good time anyway!

I loved watching David and Caroline together!

Meanwhile, here is what Abigail was doing.

First, she spent some time playing with and crawling all over Mommy.

She decided she wanted to crawl all through the grass.

She got pretty far away from me at one point.

Time to get back to Mommy!

I have no idea why she was doing this, but she kept lifting her leg like this.  Too cute!

It's official...she crawls!

Abigail is 7 months old today and she has been crawling a few "steps" for a while now.  Over the last week, she has been crawling further and further.  Today I caught it on video.  I can't believe how big she is getting so quickly! 

I love you, sweet Abigail!  You are such a joy and I am so glad that I am your Mommy!

30 Months and 6 Months...My babies are getting so big!

Caroline is now 30 months old and Abigail is now 6 months old

They are amazing little girls and I am so amazingly blessed to be their Mommy!

I did a little photo shoot to document my girls in our yard.  It was a fun time, but VERY windy!

Here is one of the pictures I got when the wind was gusting.  I love the look on Abigail's face!

Here is my sweet Abigail.  She started sitting up on her own this month. 

Also, she just looks at her big sister so endearingly.  A huge smile comes across her face every time she wakes up and sees her!  It just makes my heart so happy!

     

Here is my amazing Caroline.  She is so smart and is getting so big!

She is such a great big sister and you can tell that she really loves her Abigail SO much!

Caroline had Abigail laughing hysterically playing with a lei that we have so I pulled out the camera to video it.  They are too funny!  Also in this video is finally a good video of Abigail rolling all over the place.  They are both getting so big!

*I also forgot to mention that the song Caroline is singing is from Cinderella and she goes around singing it all the time.  She will find whatever she can:  a burp cloth, towel or even this lei and play like she is cleaning the floor while singing this song just like Cinderella does in the movie.  I love hearing her sing and she loves to sing!

For Granny & Papa

Here is a video of Caroline enjoying her new Elmo that Granny and Papa got her for Christmas.  She loves to sing and we love watching her so much!  You can also see Abigail in the foreground rolling all around.

Rolling Over?!?!?!?!?!?!

This morning, I heard Abigail waking up through the monitor.  I turned the video on just as my sweet baby rolled over for the first time!  I couldn't beleive it!  I knew it was coming and I am so glad I didn't miss it!  I went in to get her and then went as quickly as I could to get the camera to capture a picture of her on her stomach and by the time I got back, she was already headed to her side again.  Here are the pictures I got. 

I love you, my sweet Abigail!  You are getting so big, so fast!
