Marbles Kids' Museum

On March 5th, we went to Marbles Kids' Museum in Raleigh with David's parents (Caroline's Pops and Grammy).

Caroline had a blast!

When David and I went on our honeymoon, there was one of these MASSIVE chessboards at our resort. I have a picture of me sitting on the board with one of the pieces in my hand. When I saw this at Marbles, I had to have all of us in a picture on it! Such a fun memory!

Caroline loves watching the fish! I love how she layed down on the floor like this and watched them. She was very intense!

My girl that LOVES trains!

Caroline loved playing in the water area. HERE is a video of her enjoying the fun. Also, I have been trying to catch something she has been doing for a while now and I finally got it! About 13 seconds into the video she uses a hand motion that she now uses ALL the time to tell us all to "come". It is TOO cute!!!

Photos from Caroline's 19 Month

Caroline got a new outside slide/play place from Mommy's parents for Christmas. David and Caroline worked together to get it ready for play! She loved helping her Daddy!

We have had some beautiful snows this season! Here is Caroline LONGING to go outside in the snow! We didn't go immediately, but went later.

As a distraction from the fact that we weren't going out in the snow just yet, Caroline got to watch "White Christmas". She loved this scene in the movie and here is a video of her enjoying it.

Our friends, Evan, Kelly and Owen came to visit one night. Caroline loved Owen as you can plainly see in these photos. She couldn't get enough of him.

These pictures are a little scary of what the future might hold!

Here is Caroline enjoying the balloons that we got and blew up for her for Valentine's Day. She loved playing with them! She also got a frog balloon that said "I love you". Here is a video of her enjoying hitting it around.

We do family devotions every night before bedtime. As a part of that, we pull out the hymnal and sing hymns. I came up front one day and found Caroline with the hymn book. She really loves our singing time!

Here is another video of Caroline that is just hysterical! She discovered this solely on her own. She likes to play with credit card type things. In this case, she was playing with a hotel key card. She figured out how to pick it up with her foot and thought it was the best thing ever. She's so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photos from Caroline's 18th Month

One of Caroline's Christmas presents was a water toy that she loves! She has to have it at every bath now. Here is a picture and video.

Caroline's Aunt Carrie (Mommy's sister) went to Disney World this month. On the 21st, Caroline got a surprise in the mail from her Aunt Carrie! It's a Dumbo! Caroline loves it!

Caroline and Daddy ~ I love this picture!

One of the first toys David and I bought Caroline is her gloworm. She has always loved it! When she was little, we could always use it to calm her down. Here is a picture and video evidence of just how much she loves it even today!

Caroline LOVES to dance! She asks all the time for us to turn her music on. My favorite part is she has a blanket that has become her dance floor. We HAVE to lay the blanket out for her to dance on or she won't dance. Here and here are a couple of cute videos. She was a little camera shy with both of these, but you can at least get a little taste of her love of dancing.

Caroline has a toy MP3 player with kids songs on it. I have 2 videos of her enjoying it.

The first is "The Wheels on the Bus".

The second is "If You're Happy and You Know It". Caroline enjoys doing the hand motions to this song too. Our favorite is in the "and your face will surely show it" part. When you are supposed to point to your face, she points to her neck. Too cute!
