This is a bit late, but that's ok! The day after our celebration of David's birthday, he decided to have another piece of cake. He sliced it and the picture below is what it looked like. This picture is much more of what I had in mind except for the fact that I didn't want it to remain in the pan. Next time I do this cake, I will definitely do it the day before and definitely not allow the ice cream to melt as much as I did this time.

LOL...the ganache (sp?) is what looks so good...plus I love mint and chocolate...it's the best! Hope you guys have a restful weekend!
The ganache was heavenly! (That's pretty much the only part I ate.) I REALLY don't like mint chocolate!
